Welcome to the official Cashlytics documentation. These docs cover the current Cashlytics app: daily finance tracking, forecasting, documents, AI-assisted workflows, self-hosting, and operational reference material.

This site is split into:

Product Scope​

Cashlytics is a personal finance application with support for:

  • Account (bank account), expense, income, and transfer tracking
  • Dashboard and Overview summaries, analytics, forecasting, and account-level projections
  • Reserve plan for bills that are due less often than monthly
  • Insights: automatic notices about unusual spending and budget warnings, computed without AI
  • Merchant categories the AI assistant learns from expenses you approve
  • A read-only REST API with personal API tokens for integrations such as Home Assistant
  • German and English app interface
  • Documents, receipt attachments, global search, PWA/offline support, and push reminders
  • AI assistant, receipt scanner, and CSV import with reconciliation when OPENAI_API_KEY is configured
  • User accounts with sign-up, password reset, and optional single-user mode (see Account and Sign-in)
  • Self-hosted deployment, also with several users
